Pattern Favourites: Midi Skirts
Are we the only ones that really love making and wearing midi skirts? Not quite mini, and not quite maxi, midi length is the perfect in between length and it can be worn all year round! Combine midi skirts with sneakers or flip flops in summer, or go for ankle boots or chunky boots in winter, it’s a super versatile piece that is a must-have in your handmade wardrobe.
Sporty, chic, casual, and classy, we’ve gathered some of our favourite midi skirt patterns for you today. Which one will you be adding to your wardrobe?

Pattern: Simplicity 8699.
Will plaid fabrics ever go completely out of style? We hope not! Because this pattern is a match made in heaven for plaids! Simplicity 8699 is a beautiful midi length wrap skirt that closes with 3 buttons on the side.

Pattern: Vogue 1957.
Vogue 1957 features a lot of interesting details and we are totally into it. It has a staggered frill front and gathered skirt into a flat waistband.

Pattern: New Look 6346.
New Look 6346 is a simple yet gorgeous a-line skirt with buttons down the front. A midi skirt like this one is easy to style and combine with different shoes. It will be a great addition to your handmade wardrobe!

Pattern: Vogue 8956.
This semi-fitted wrap skirt will certainly steal the show. It’s looks fantastic in thicker fabric which makes it perfect for this time of year. It features a button or hook & eye closing, an asymmetric narrow hem with one or two sides that extend into drape. This pattern includes a total of six variations.
