The Bees made a wonderful array of Nehru jackets. We loved the brocade versions which reminded us of Butterick 6602.
The design has a stand collar and princess seams, similar to the pattern on the show but doesn’t require any of those tricky buttonholes.
And you could add welt pockets easily using pieces from another pattern.

Alex took a box pleated jumpsuit (possibly S9142) and sewed together the legs to make a skirt.

Use M7896‘s gathered bodice to replicate Suzy’s hand pleated strapless dress.
