UK customers can order printed copies of any A0 / Copyshop pattern from our website and we’ll post it out to you – No need to go through any confusing extra steps, just add this option during checkout.
Our pattern sheets are printed in black and white on sturdy paper perfect for sewing patterns, folded to A4 size for easy delivery through your letterbox.
Your digital files will also be sent immediately so you can download your PDF Pattern and keep a copy for the future and use your pattern instructions.

Add printing
It’s as easy as ticking a box! Choose “Include Printed Pattern Sheets” when you order any PDF pattern, or add printing at checkout to add this to your order.
We’ll print it
Our copy shop will print your patterns on sturdy 60gsm paper, great for sewing patterns. We will carefully package your pattern for you.
We’ll post it
Once printing is complete, and your order has been checked, we will post using our Royal Mail delivery service. Patterns will arrive in a matter of days.

Answers to your Print on Demand questions
Our copy shop uses 60gsm paper and prints A0 size PDF patterns. This paper is great for sewing patterns as it is very durable. It pins, folds, and cuts just the way you’d expect. Please note that this paper stock is different to the thinner pattern tissue used by many physical sewing pattern brands.
You’ll receive every pattern sheet, printed at full scale and ready to use in your postal delivery. Some patterns may require joining multiple sheets of A0 together to complete the pattern pieces before you cut out your project.
Please note that sewing instructions are included as a separate PDF when you purchase the pattern, and will not be printed with the pattern sheets. You can view and download your instructions by on your order confirmation or by logging into your Sewdirect account. Instructions can then be viewed on your device or printed on a home printer.
The printing cost is added at checkout when you select ‘Print for me’, so you can see the total before you place your order. Printing prices start from £5 and vary depending on the number of pages in the pattern.
Every order is printed manually and checked by the Sewdirect team before it leaves us. However, if anything isn’t right – whether a page is missing, the print is unclear, or something doesn’t look as it should – please get in touch with us and we’ll put it right.
