When does Sewing Bee series 11 air?
The Sewing Bee series 11 air date is July 15th on BBC One.
We’ve had our first glimpse of the contestants and are allowed to share more details on July 8th!! We can’t wait for you to fall in love with them all.
In week one, judges Patrick Grant and Esme Young challenge the sewers to prove their ability to create shape. First up, the Pattern Challenge sees them crafting a tie-front blouse, using gathers to add volume.
Next, in the 90-minute Transformation Challenge, circle skirts are reimagined into brand new garments.
Finally, the Made-to-Measure challenge tests their skills with pleats as they design a perfectly shaped dress. Read our essential guided to pleats and all the pattern choices!
