We have gathered some amazing special occasion gowns (plus a bonus outfit!) and hopefully you’ll feel inspired to make your own frock and get excited for future special occasions.

Pattern: McCall’s 8087.
Looking for a relaxed bohemian chic look? McCall’s 8087 features an elasticated off-the-shoulder bodice with a playful deep ruffle. The pattern includes different length and bodice variations.

Pattern: McCall’s 8038.
Stylish and super chic, McCall’s 8038 features a stunning deep-plunge back! The pattern includes three sleeve variations: short sleeves, sleeveless, and full-length sleeves. You’ll also have the option to add a small fish-tail hem.

Pattern: Simplicity 9010.
Casual, chic, and comfy. Does that sound like something you are looking for in a special occasion dress? Then look no further then Simplicity 9010. It’s a loose-fitting dress with an elasticated waist and grown-on sleeves. Options include a cross-over back neckline and short or midi-length.

The fitted bodice of McCall’s 8037 features a plunging front neckline with an eye-catching tie detail or a deep cowl-neckline. You’ll have the option to make it sleeveless or to add full-length sleeves.

We’re pretty sure we can all agree that making a wedding dress is the most special of special occasion dresses. Simplicity 8289 features a princess seam bodice with or without lace overlay with gallon lace back interest. The skirt can also be made with or without drapes in various lengths.
