This sewing video shows how to finish a designer hem for delicate fabrics such as chiffon, satin, organza, etc. A designer hem is also referred to as a baby hem or a very narrow hem.
Top tips:
Tip #1: Be sure to use the correct size needle for your fabrics.
Tip #2: Be sure to use sharp cutting tools.
Tip #3: Use tissue paper to help prevent fabric from getting caught in the feed dogs.
