Burda sewing patterns are the European market leader and a full range in their own right, with everything from menswear and womenswear to clothing for children and babies, craft designs, costume sewing patterns, household accessories and sleepwear... the list goes on!

If you can name a category, there's probably a Burda sewing pattern of some sort to be found within it, offering distinctly European styles that make use of the same sewing skills you've perfected elsewhere.

Burda sewing patterns are rated from one to four in terms of how easy or difficult they are, making them a good option for relative newcomers to sewing, or for experienced needlecrafters who want to try their hand at a level-4 pattern.

You'll also find some quirky ideas in this collection, for example a single pack of kitchen accessory sewing patterns might include designs for window blinds, oven gloves, napkins and aprons, placemats, bags including bottle carriers, tea cosies and even a multi-pouch fabric display stand for bread rolls!

While Burda sewing patterns did not used to include a seam allowance, that has all changed with more recent introductions - so there's no need to increase the fabric measurements yourself.

That means when you draw or cut around the sewing pattern template, it allows a little extra between the cut edge and the stitching line for the seam, making new Burda sewing patterns easier than ever to use!
