Brrr… Baby it’s cold outside! It’s almost Winter so now is a great time to start thinking about sewing with warm wools, cosy knits and heavy weight fabrics. You’ll probably want to wear lots of layers in the coldest months of the year so we have gathered some great layering pieces and together with some amazing outerwear patterns you can create the perfect capsule wardrobe for winter!

This pattern is all you need if you’re looking for a top that you can make in a finer knit to wear as a base layer to keep you warm and toasty or a heavier weight knit to create a jumper. It includes so many great design options, you’ll want to make one for every day of the week!

Mix and match with a cardigan, a T-shirt, a pencil skirt and leggings to create basic pieces that will go with everything. This pattern is designed for knit fabrics which will make these really comfortable to wear, easy to sew and combine with other garments in your wardrobe.
