This video shows how to sew a pic stitch, also known as a prick stitch. This stitch can be visible or invisible, depending on the use. A visible pic stitch can be used as a decorative element on a garment. An invisible pic stitch is typically used around the facing to tack the seam allowance to the facing of a garment.
This type of stitch is sewn by hand with a needle and thread.
Top tip: We recommend a gold eye needle as this is easier to thread and remember to use coordinating coloured thread for your project.
