How To Make A Scarf

Materials Needed:

• 1/4 yd. of 58/60″ wide fleece fabric
• 1-7/8 yds. of Novelty Braid Trim

Instructions

Step 1: Cut a strip of fleece 7″ wide across the full width of the fleece fabric. Trim off each selvage end evenly.

Step 2: Cut four lengths of the braid trim, each 15″ long. On each short end of scarf, place braid along the edge. Wrap around to the underside so that both layers of trim are in the same position. Trim ends even with edge of scarf or turn them under.

Step 3: Baste through all thicknesses.Machine – stitch trim in place, as basted. Remove basting. Mark a straight line on each end 3″ above the inner edge of the first row of trim.Apply another row of trim along marked lines the same as the first rows.
