How To Make A Muffler

Materials Needed:

• 1/4 yd. of 58/60” wide fleece fabric
• 7/8 yd. of 2” wide fringe trim.

Instructions

Step 1: Cut a strip of fleece 7” wide across the full width of the fleece fabric. Trim off each selvage end evenly.

Step 2: Cut two lengths of the fringe trim, each 15” long. On each short end of muffler, place band edge of fringe trim just over the cut edge of the fabric. Wrap around to the underside so that both band edges are in the same position.

Step 3: Turn under ends of trim at edge where they meet. Baste band edge of trim in place through all thicknesses. Machine-stitch band edge of trim in place, as basted. Remove basting and anchoring thread from fringe trim.
