The Results are in! Simplicity Sewing Challenge 2016

After weeks of amazing Simplicity Sewing Challenge makes pouring in, we knew that our superstar judging panel would have a hard task on their hands, but I think even they were shocked by the standard of the entries.

As head judge May Martin said herself, “Judging this competition was a challenge in itself! The standard of the entries was high!”

So, after much deliberating – the judges have come to a decision and we can finally announce the results!

A big thanks to everyone that entered the Simplicity Sewing challenge and huge congratulations to the chosen winners and highly commended stitchers – we’ll be in touch with more information about your Simplicity prize.

Over the next few weeks we’ll also be showcasing pictures of the makes that came so very close to taking the title, so keep an eye out for your make on Simplicity’s social media sites.

Finally, massive thanks goes to our judging panel: May Martin, Lauren Guthrie, Claire-Louise Hardie, Jennifer Ward and Rachel Pinheiro – who were tasked with the incredibly hard job of deciding which sewing projects topped the list.
