Today we wanted to discuss a classic silhouette that you’ll never get bored of wearing – tunics! Simple in design and easy-to-wear, tunics never seem to dwindle in popularity because they are so versatile. You can pop on a statement necklace and look-at-me shoes, and you’re good to go.
As the shape is simple, the sewing generally is too, which means they can be very satisfying project. You can also use this as an opportunity to try out new techniques and details as the shape is relatively easy to fit.

This has to be the ultimate classic tunic sewing pattern! Its clean and simple lines give it a modern feel and the flared sleeves and shaped front pockets add subtle details. The pattern also comes with the pants pattern, so you can complete the outfit.

If you prefer your garments to have a more fitted silhouette, it doesn’t mean you can’t make a tunic! Designed for stretch knit fabrics, this lovely dress features a wrap and tie detail. Tunics are ideal for warm weather and this design is perfect for laid-back summer style. The loose-fitting pullover tunic has front slit with binding, neck binding and tie ends. It has self-lined front and back yokes, sleeve band with continuous lap and button and loop closure and shaped hem.
