We’re back with another maker’s showcase! Get inspired by the makers and creators from our sewing community and see what they’ve been sewing in April and May. Spoiler alert: they’ve made some fabulous garments that are a must have in any summer wardrobe! So you better get that wish list ready…
@sewitcynthia’s Simplicity 8608 jumpsuit is the bees knees. Perfect for summer and it’s bang on trend – a double win from us!
@adaspragg has ABSOLUTELY nailed the McCalls 7838, we love the clean lines and the button placement on her version. And of course, this pattern has got the dreamiest sleeves!
@sewmanju stitched a beautiful V9186 dress with a statement asymmetric waist seam and hem. The fabric she used is perfect for this floaty style!
This might well be the ultimate summer party dress!! The dress is made using the McCalls 7717 by @giggle_maker. The strawberries are sequin patches that have been sewn on afterwards. It’s so fun and colourful, we love it.
@divadoesdiy made a delightful version of the McCalls 7531. It’s simple, elegant and that fabric is what flowery fabric dreams are made of. Anyone else off to make this now?!
Oh my days…. we’re swooning over this beautiful make from @salonmishawn – it’s the Vogue 9355.
Wow what a fantastic make! @hayleyangell has made the very popular Vogue Patterns 9075. The Pretty Woman dress for the races is such an iconic dress and we love this version.
This simple paired down look from @claireallenplatt is perfect for the weekend, she’s made the McCalls 5764 for the dress and the jacket is self drafted. A great combo!
@lgarland1 was wearing the Butterick 5920 on her first day back at work. We love this vintage shape made with a modern print. It’s amazing how the fabric can transform the pattern isn’t it!
We LOVE this make from @brittanyjjones who’s made the Simplicity 8707. It comes in adult & children’s sizes so you can use up your left over fabric to make a mini version!
@foxdollysews made the Vogue Patterns 8810 in a beautiful stone shade of linen. Perfect for this sunny weather that’s coming up!
We are loving @craftypinup‘s Simplicity 6301. Every wardrobe should have a wrap dress, it’s a wardrobe staple and one you’ll pull out year on year!
