Learn to Sew: Crafting with children

With the Easter holidays approaching here in the UK, it’s a great time to sew with children and teach them the skills of crafting. This week on the blog we are sharing with you some patterns that could be fun to sew over the holidays, with little ones in mind. We’ve got patterns for toys and other items to make that could be perfect gifts too.

These cute stuffed toys are lovely projects to make with children. The pattern contains six animals, each with an appliqued muzzle, contrast body and embroidered mouth.

This baby play toys set includes a set of stacking rings, cube and two play balls. These are fun and easy sewing projects, which would be perfect for using up fabric scraps. You could also make them in matching colours for the baby’s nursery.
